The Beauty of the East
This Lightweight from 1978 had been enjoyed by its local owner for years but it was in need of work. A new galvanised chassis, rebuilt axles and braking system were just the start. Ever the perfectionist, Terry's bodywork and stunning paint job has rewarded the owner with one of the most desirable lightweights you will find. LRM feature, Feb 2021.
Series 3 300TDi
The April 2020 edition of LRM featured our Series 3 engine and gearbox upgrade. This classic Land Rover was fitted with a 300TDi Discovery engine, R380 gearbox, front disc brakes and power steering.
Disco Revival
In August 2018, LRM featured Terry's painstaking restoration of this 1992 Discovery for a local customer who had owned the vehicle from new. The result is a head-turning showroom-condition vehicle that will perform for many years.
Lightweight/Ninety hybrid
Land Rover Enthusiast Magazine made us their cover story with a feature on the build of a V8 Lightweight that we completed for a customer. Finished in Black and based on a ninety, the magazine nicknamed this airportable ‘Stealth Bomber’.
Defender 90 project ‘Freehand’
Land Rover Enthusiast Magazine called this Defender 90 project ‘Freehand’. Terry had been given a loose brief by our customer who knew our team's capabilities. After carefully considering his requirements, Terry designed and specified this very capable all-rounder.
Range Rover/Defender/Series 3 hybrid
Land Rover Owner International published a 4-page article on our own version of a ‘heritage Land Rover’. V8-powered it combines the classic looks of the series 3 with the rugged and capable suspension of the Range Rover.
Land Rover Monthly Survival Guide tdi
Land Rover Monthly Magazine asked us to work with them on a guide to owning and running a TDi vehicle, this is one of many collaborations and Terry is one of their on-hand Defender Experts. The 5-page feature uses one of our own pre-owned vehicles, a lovely 200 tdi Defender soft-top.
